Glass Recycling Changes
Please be advised that glass is no longer a part of the recycling program in Fairfax County effective October 1, 2019.

Sequoyah residents have two options for glass disposal:
  1. Deliver used glass containers to purple, glass-only recycling containers. There are currently 21 purple containers available, and more sites are being evaluated to make dropping off glass more convenient.
  2. Place used glass in the trash.
